About UniFi @ Home
UniFi is a broadband service that uses fibre optics to deliver high speed internet, phone and IPTV services to customers' homes. The type of technology used to deliver UniFi service to customers' homes would depend on the type of customer premise. If the customer's premise is a landed property, Fibre to the Home (FTTH) will be used whereas if the customer's premise is a high rise building, Very high speed Digital Subscriber Line 2 (VDSL 2) will be used.

The Residential package is a triple play UniFi service which is called VIP because it comes with three services which are:

V - Video or Internet Protocol Television
I - High Speed Internet
P - Phone

Important Notice:
- Installation will take around 5 to 7 hours for Landed Homes (Terrace, Link, Semi-Detached, Bungalows) and 2-3 hours for High-Rise Residences (Flats, Apartments, Condominiums)

Terms and Conditions for Home Unifi Package:
- Minimum Contract Period: 24 months
- Termination fees of RM500 in the event the unifi package is terminated by user before the end of contract period.
- Service can be transferred to another location (subject to service availability)



IMPORTANT NOTE ON TM UNIFI INSTALLATION FEES:

Free Installation worth RM 200 & Free Equipments worth RM 1094.
TM UniFi FREE installation only covers the standard installation. ( 15 meter cable )

Non Standard installation is when:
1. The Unifi installation requires extra cable length (additional cable used shall be chargeable)
2. The cable route is either over the ceiling, wall concealed or any other way as opposed to the standard installation.

Any installation beyond the standard installation will be charged separately as quoted by the Unifi installer, and is to be paid directly on the installation day to the installer. Please be informed that the cost will be around RM50 for every 5 meter exceeding the standard 15 meters included in the FREE installation.

Minimal drilling at your premise may be required. However, if the Unifi cable route is over the ceiling, wall, concealed or any other than standard white plastic casing, the installer will charge based on the length and the FREE 15 meter will no longer apply. Expect to pay around RM10 – RM15 per meter and feel free to negotiate with the installer for the best deal.
